While playing about with Tasks in PWA yesterday I came across a problem. Although I had assigned a resource to a task and had saved and published that project, when I logged in as that resource the tasks were not showing in My Tasks.

A bit of searching on my favourite search engine revealed the answer. For tasks to appear under My Tasks the resource must be set as their own default assignment owner. This can be changed for individual projects and tasks from the Resource tab of the Task information dialogue box from within MS Project Professional.
