The Eagles are coming

well maybe not the Eagles, but definitely the Red Kites.

 

I drove down to Marlow and back today, to meet my new colleagues and get an idea of the layout of the office for when I start my new job on the 27th.

 

Driving down the M40 towards the Stokenchurch cuttin I saw a red kite just taking off – it was huge.

 

They are such a magnificent sight. I saw several more on my way back as well and was reminded of that line from Lord of the Rings: “The Eagles are coming” or something like that anyway.
